At the Grand Opening of the Waldhaus Flims Alpine Grand Hotel & Spa I spent a perfect weekend in an amazing Hotel in the most beautiful scenery. The entire team spoiled me from the first minute on and didn’t leave any wishes open. The 5 star superior Waldhaus Flims Alpine Grand Hotel & Spa reopened its doors after about five months of renovations. The result is impressing in every little detail.
It is a great address if you are looking for a hotel with all types of accommodation and the design is in a historic and modern way. No matter if you are in need of an uplifting wellness weekend, or you have to organize a business meeting, or if you want to celebrate a big event – this location offers first-class service in a most superior surrounding. It is located just 140 km away from Zurich and you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view over the Alps.
The weekend started off high-class with a shuttle service from the airport with a Maserati Levante, a cooperation partner of the house. The first night scheduled the “Grand Opening” Gala Event with a champagne cocktail and an evening program with music acts and great shows. Next to the culinary highlights I met a lot of interesting and nice people and we were able to dance to the live music and DJ sounds.
The next morning began with a delicious brunch with specialties from the region and other delights. After that I got a private tour through the Hotel from the Managing Director Peter Schoch himself. He showed me around the entire space very kindly and enthusiastically and he didn’t leave out a single detail. I can tell you, you’re in the best hands with him and the great team around him and they all make your stay perfect!
Later on I visited the special private Spa for an amazing and relaxing treatment for a perfect recovery from the long night before. After this exclusive Spa visit I was ready for the next evening program with an invite at the “Belle Epoque” Museum with alpine specialties – it was delicious and again I was surrounded by a wonderful group of people.
The next day I was driven back to the airport with the classy Maserati shuttle and all in all the Hotel made my weekend a very special experience. I had the best time during the Grand Opening of the Waldhaus Flims Alpine Hotel & Spa and the generous scheduled programs and the wonderful treatments made my stay unforgettable and I will be back for sure.
