During my last visit in the happy place Los Angeles I couldn’t get enough of the Beach life. I love walking through the sand barefoot or in sandals and to feel the breeze coming from the ocean. The sun is shining and all the people are happy and enjoying the quality time. Venice Beach is one my favorite places, there is so much going on and the atmosphere spreads pure fun. Sometimes I just sit down and watch the surfers waiting for the perfect wave and the other people doing their beach activities or just relaxing, like myself. Life can be a beach!
I was there in spring last time and it wasn’t always very warm but with a little sun and the right outfit I could spend hours there. You can see me wearing a pair of Levi’s skinny jeans in light blue with a vintage optic. I always have a pair of denims with me on my trips, they are so easy and comfortable to wear and you can style them with nearly anything. No matter if you choose a cool t-shirt or a fancy blouse, or what about a chic blazer or a long cardigan, jeans will always work and go with the combination. Just like with your choice of shoes, put on a pair of sandals, booties or high heels – slip into whatever is suitable for your activity.
My shirt is actually a body from Patrizia Pepe in white with a cool shiny print `Welcome To The Desert Festival` in silver and pink perfect for the beach life. When the wind gets a bit stronger I put on my long cashmere cardigan from Heartbraker in a lovely turquoise color matching the color of the ocean. The pashmina scarf is from Heartbreaker as well and the colors pick up every tone in my outfit again. A little rocky extra is in my Valentino Rockstud sandals in pink, perfect for the festival season right now. The Gucci GG Marmont bag in bright yellow brings even more light to the day and it hangs nicely over the shoulder. Against the sun I have my silver mirrored glasses from Le Specs. To finish up my beach look I styled it with a beautiful fancy watch from IWC, the model is called the IWC Da Vinci, an automatic 36 watch in 18-carat red gold with diamonds. The filigree jewelry is by Art Youth Society and the details go perfectly to the scenery.
I must admit I can really get used to the easy going Beach Life in Los Angeles – I will be back soon!
