The place to be in Venice is definitely Abbot Kinney Boulevard! In 1990, West Washington was renamed to Abbot Kinney, after the man who built the Venice Canals. Throughout the years it has been developed by the diligence of the merchants and the support from the growing community.
Now Abbot Kinney is not only an up and coming attraction for tourists, but it also serves as a local gathering place for west side residents. With some of the finest restaurants, unique art galleries, prestigious wine shops and exciting nightlife, it is evolving from a historical destination, to a place that is writing a new history.
For the best ice cream in town I truly recommend the „Salt and Straw“ shop on Abbot Kinney!! The extraordinary composition of sweet ingredients mixed with a bit of salt to underline the aroma is breathtaking and more than yummy.
Best avocado bread you can get at the „Butchers Daughter“. They treat fruits and vegetables as a butcher would meat: they chop, fillet and carve fresh produce into healthy vegetarian dishes and press them into pretty juices. The „Butchers Daughter“ is New York’s awarded juice bar. It’s the perfect place to start your day right.
To make the style a little bit edgy I chose this cream fluid blouse from Steffen Schraut in combination with my Gianvito Rossi pumps. This slim fit blouse is trimmed with tonal crochet and a pretty finish, crochet at neckline and down sleeves. For a maximalist approach to the styling I chose my white plexi leather and transparent plexi pumps from Gianvito Rossi.
