This winter is as glittery as never before. Shiny clothes are very typical for the holiday season – they just spread Christmas feelings so well! And if that is not enough (or too much), there are so many additional ways

this year. Glittery hair ties, twinkling scarfs or even sparkling socks – there is almost everything for a shiny holiday look!

Socks are very important for fashionable looks currently. Trouser legs are shortened and everyone loves to put emphasis on their socks – patterned, monochrome, or even mash socks are absolutely trendy right now. Even heels or sandals are worn in combination with the eye-catching pieces – something a woman would have never done a couple of years ago. I am wearing my Valentino rockstud pumps for this look – with some glittery socks underneath. I really like to put emphasis on little details such as those, but I also have to say that it’s not very flatteringly, as it visually shortens the leg. I advise to style this trend carefully; it can look random easily.

Another huge must-have is the negligee in everyday life. I especially like to wear a cute black-laced top with spaghetti straps in combination with a basic white shirt underneath. But for this look I am wearing my Agent Provocateur negligee in combination with a twinkling dress by Marciano Guess – due to the lengths of the piece it seems like the dress has a laced seam. This outfit has very trendy elements and with my Patrizia Pepe coat and the Chloe Drew bag I am ready for a night out.

Lace is not a hidden fabric anymore. Quite the contrary – it is socially accepted and also suitable for daily use and night outs. Styled with the glittery pieces this outfit is greatly balanced and perfect for the coming holidays, what do you think?
