Silk pants are a wonderful option if you are looking for a fancy pair of trousers for a fancy occasion. It doesn’t always have to be a long beautiful dress, a suit combination in the right fabric can be most elegant. Marlene Dietrich was the first lady who established trousers for women and she really did a good job in my eyes. There are beautiful models by all kinds of designers around the planet, so there is plenty to choose from.

These amazing silk pants you can see me wearing are by the great designers Talbot Runhof. The two men have an amazing taste, creating most elegant outfits made of high quality fabrics. You can tell that they read women’s minds, you will always feel as if your outfit was especially made for you. The designs are clean, very chic and feminine and created for all kinds of special occasions. This dream in yellow is made up of a long pair of silk pants that cover my shoes.

I personally think that long trousers swing nicely around the leg and they make them look much longer. With high heels you can cheat a little bit more and no one knows how long they really are. To go with the pants I am wearing the matching yellow tunic from Talbot Runhof. This combination is perfect to welcome the springtime and the sun. It is happy and comfortable and it looks stunning at the same time. Perfect for a day meeting but just as suitable for an elegant evening cocktail.

For some more happy color I am carrying my Viv’Cabas bag in bright orange from Roger Vivier. The designer is known and respected for his amazing leather shoes and bags and for beautiful buckles. He creates little art works that I am always happy to wear. They lighten up any outfit.

When I am walking you can see my So Kate Pumps from Christian Louboutin, another lovely detail for underneath. As I said, long pants need high heels, for the optic and for the style. With all these amazing sunny colors I need sunglasses and this outfit goes well with my mirrored sunglasses from Le Specs.

Silk pants are a must have in your closet, they are great to style in a very chic or in a casual way, try both options and enjoy!
