A big dream of the lovely fashion brand Riani came to life on the 4th of July during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin. I had the great honor and pleasure to be part of this amazing dream come true, called „RIANISTA’S BIG DREAM“. The German premium brand showed their latest spring/summer 2019 collection in the E-Werk, an amazing location, one of the most beautiful industrial monuments in the middle of our capital. The fashion show was under the motto ‚Riani and the American Way of Life‘ in the old Hollywood Style – and it really felt like being in LA. There was a Walk of Fame and I still cannot believe that I got my very own Star – thanks so much Riani for letting me feel like a real Hollywood Star for a day. What a magical moment. The Paparazzi and the entire atmosphere were incredible and I think I can speak for everyone, that this was an unforgettable experience.
The collection was inspired by the USA, by the eastern coast, pulsing cities such as New York or Miami – using stunning colors such as deep blue, Rianis new black or beautiful green tones. But they also showed lovely designs with checkered or floral patterns that reminded of a trip to the Hamptons. Or what about a bright pink, like driving in a pink Cadillac through the city of angels. The entire collections is absolutely stunning and every lady will look at her best – no matter what she chooses to wear.
The show was opened by a spectacular performance of 20 lovely talents from the Hamburg Stage School, singing “All that Jazz” with truly powerful voices. Just as powerful as the brand and the women who are all about the brand – strong women for strong women. A perfect harmony and story.
The guest list was in Hollywood Style as well, there were lots of German actors and VIPs such as Alexandra Maria Lara, Sonja Gerhardt, Anna Maria Mühe, Eva Padberg and Christine Neubauer – just to name a few of the great ladies. What a great honor to be part of this circle of strong and beautiful ladies. And the big dream had another wonderful highlight to celebrate – four decades of Riani fashion. That means 40 years of passion, love and stunning designs. What a great way to celebrate and what an amazing collection – Bravo Riani – I loved every detail and minute of it.
Of course I was always wearing Riani for this occasion, a beautiful two-piece – blazer and pants in a checkered pattern. Under the blazer I slipped into a light top from Jadicted, the suit stands for itself. My bag is the red velvet Gucci Marmont, which go perfectly with my red Gianvito Rossi pumps. The sunglasses are a vintage Gucci model and my watch is from IWC.
A big dream should always be followed and dreamt – and even better if you can make it come true – just as Riani did with their beautiful event “RiANISTA’S BIG DREAM” – thank you for everything, it was a great pleasure.
