I’m so happy to be a part of the new Nespresso campaign #MeinNespressoMorgen. Following the motto “Mein Morgen. Mein Moment. Mein Nespresso” I wanted to show you what kind of morning type I am and how coffee rituals can characterize your personality.
I am absolutely a morning person! I get up early and my first action is drinking delicious espresso with a perfect crema while planning the day and checking my e-mails at the kitchen island. Everyone is different when it comes to morning rituals, so I had lots of fun discovering the different morning types with the new quiz on the Nespresso homepage. Basically – and it’s true – there are five morning types. For each one of them Nespresso has created a special package with three different blends of coffee caps, that match the taste and priorities of the respective morning type perfectly:
The slow gourmets savor an extra large coffee during breakfast at home or on their way to work. For extra long and intense gusto, they enjoy their maximum dose of coffee in black with a nice crema and only after that they begin with their tasks.
The relaxed morning people celebrate their foaming mug of coffee at home; they take their time and let the fragrant coffee do its magic and give them energy and inspiration for the day ahead.
The late risers sleep long and then take a big strong cup of coffee to be ready just in time. There’s no time and need for complicated rituals, it’s just about flavor and effect to be prepared to face the day.
The explorers love experimenting with different coffee and milk creations to get in the mood for what the day might bring. The first cappuccino in the morning is their first highlight of the day.
The early starters, like myself, like to get things done immediately and prefer a quick and aromatic espresso, to revive their senses. Its intense flavor accompanies their first tasks at the beginning of the day. That’s really so me!! And during hectic hours of extensive shootings, meetings and calls I love to reward myself with the essential mini espresso coffee break in the afternoon, that gives me a quick energy boost.
Does the early starter only drink espresso? No! As a dedicated businesswoman I take my work and appointments during the week very seriously, but on Sundays I turn into an explorer and challenge my friends and family with extravagant coffee ceremonies at the breakfast table! 😉
Therefore I’ve equipped my kitchen island with a new shiny silver Nespresso Creatista coffee machine, which does not only look fabulous, but makes the most delicious espresso, lungo and cappuccino you can imagine! And, of course, I got the matching cups and mugs because I spend literally hours in my kitchen – which is also my favorite working space – so the visual aspect is more than a plus!
