I was thinking about a living room revamp for some time and finally made it happen! Today, I am happy to welcome you to my newly designed living room! My partner in crime for this great project was MAXIMILIAN ARNDT INTERIOR LIVING. Maximilian Arndt offers 360 consultancy when it comes to interior design matters and is located in Düsseldorf/Germany.
My living room is split into two parts – the dining area and the lounge area where my TV as well as my cozy velvet couch in petrol are located.
Above the dining table I changed the lamp to a more modern, subtle one by VS MANUFAKTUR which I think fits amazingly nice as it mirrors the round shape of the table. On top, in contrast to the previous one it does not block the view on my beloved art piece by Peintre X. In the dining area next to the table we decided to place a little bar by EICHHOLTZ. I simply love its round chrome exterior and it gives my collection of antique bottles a new home which normally were placed on a tray on the sideboard underneath the Peintre X painting looking a little untidy I have to admit.
As I am generally not too fond of TV screens hanging on the wall giving the impression of a black hole I used the revamp of my living room to exchange my old TV for the new Samsung The Frame. With this beauty you have the opportunity to add photography as background instead of a black screen when the TV is switched off which I think is simply genius. MAXIMILIAN ARNDT INTERIOR LIVING and I also added a new carpet in black and white to my lounge area. It’s a custom-made piece by OBJECT CARPET that picks up my overall apartment’s look & feel and gives the lounge area a bit of an island character. The center piece of my lounge area after the living room revamp is a super modern chrome table in inkblot shape by EICHHOLTZ. To make it appear even more high-end MAXIMILIAN ARNDT INTERIOR LIVING and I topped it off with a glass plate following the recommendation of a good friend of mine.
The window corner in this area is normally rather empty besides XMAS when it hosts my XMAS tree so it also needed a revamp and we decided that it would be the perfect place for a nice office set by EICHHOLTZ. Sitting here doing my mails with sunshine in my face and the blue sky in front of me makes me so happy! I am glad I finally found the perfect use for that little corner. On top, MAXIMILIAN ARNDT INTERIOR LIVING placed a super stylish sideboard behind my couch matching this office set. We also changed the old linen curtains to satin ones made of fabric by DESIGNERS GUILD which flow very light and have a pretty shine to them. Their color perfectly matches the rest of the whites in my living room which makes the whole arrangement look very harmonious.
The accessories MAXIMILIAN ARNDT INTERIOR LIVING recommended to me all follow the style of Happy Chic and are without exception pieces by JONATHAN ADLER. The vases and other design elements are not only extremely chic but also functional which I think is one of a kind! The pretty cushions by JONATHAN ADLER serve as a great colorful accent on my petrol colored couch and are on top super cozy.
I am so happy with how my living room revamp turned out and am amazed by the way MAXIMILIAN ARNDT INTERIOR LIVING has curated each element in a way that makes this room come across super stylish yet amazingly cozy! And cozy to me is an absolute must when it comes to living rooms…
